Traffic on Al Khan Road in Sharjah to be temporarily diverted on Friday

Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced a temporary traffic diversion on Al Khan Road as part of ongoing development, expansion and bridge construction works with the aim to improve traffic flow and enhance the emirate’s infrastructure.
The diversion will begin on Friday, May 22, 2026, and will follow the approved alternative routes shown in the map.
SRTA urges road users to abide by the approved traffic diversions, use the alternative routes and follow traffic safety guidelines to ensure their safety and the smooth flow of traffic.
