The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has approved the schedule for video communication between inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centres and their families during Eid Al Adha holiday, in line with its continuous efforts to strengthen family ties and instill humanitarian values by providing a rehabilitative environment that considers the psychological and social aspects of inmates, and to support their effective connection with their family environment as an essential part of the rehabilitation system.
ADJD set the period from May 26 (Tuesday) May 29, 2026 (Friday), for conducting digital sessions, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, with the morning period on Friday dedicated to female inmates communicating with their relatives from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
ADJD indicated that the sessions are conducted via "Nafidhaty" smart application, which allows inmates to communicate with their families remotely through dedicated centres equipped with the latest technical means, ensuring ease of procedures and smooth service.
The Department has provided the option to book appointments electronically through Abu Dhabi government services platform "Tamm", https://www.tamm.abudhabi/ar-ae, or via the following link www.adpolice.gov.ae, provided that the applicant receives an approval SMS including the specified appointment and the designated centre for the session.
