His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday, visited the fifth edition of the "Make it in Emirates" exhibition at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
He was accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, as well as Sheikh Theyab Bin Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs. The event was held under the theme "Advanced Industry: We Emerge Stronger."
Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that the UAE is not merely anticipating the future but actively shaping it through the innovative efforts of its people and the visionary work of its ambitious national institutions.
He highlighted investing in human capital as a top priority, emphasizing that empowering local talent with advanced knowledge, skills, and technologies is the key to fostering a more distinctive and sustainable future.
During the visit, Sheikh Mohammed praised the contributions of the "Make it in Emirates" exhibition.
He commended its role in uniting stakeholders from the industrial sector, both domestic and international, and encouraging collaboration to develop cutting-edge solutions that drive progress across various forward-looking industries, including advanced technology, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology.
The event features participation from more than 1,245 companies across 12 industrial sectors, with the goal of localizing the production of nearly 5,000 products in the UAE.
