The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) warned customers against fraudulent attempts exploiting the ICP’s name and logo through phone calls and fake websites run by unknown entities for the purpose of hacking and fraud.
Urging customers to obtain services through the smart app (UAE ICP) and its official website, the ICP stressed the need not to share the one-time password (OTP) or the digital identity verification number, as the ICP’s employees never ask to share these numbers with them.
