Abu Dhabi Police warn against parking vehicles on road shoulder

Stopping on the shoulder can endanger both the driver and other road users.
Abu Dhabi Police have affirmed that motorists parking on the shoulder of the road endanger their lives and the lives of other motorists.
They stressed the necessity for any motorist to move off the road into the nearest safe parking area if his vehicle broke down.
They also underlined the importance for motorists not to overtake vehicles on the shoulder of the road to ensure their safety and that of other road users and avoid traffic fines.
