Sharjah schools resume in-person classes with enhanced safety measures

Rashid Al Mazmi, Head of Compliance at the Sharjah Private Education Authority, highlighted that educational institutions across the Emirate have completed all necessary preparations to welcome students back for in-person learning.

He noted that the inspection efforts focused on assessing the readiness of facilities and infrastructure, as well as confirming adherence to robust security and safety protocols in line with top-tier standards. These measures aim to ensure a productive and secure start to the academic term for all.

Nurseries: A Nation Protected, Knowledge Built

Sharjah's nurseries recently came alive with cheerful energy as children marked their return to early childhood education. Aisha Khalifa Al Suwaidi, the director of Al Qulaya Nursery, shared her delight over the resurgence of activity within educational spaces. To commemorate the occasion, a special event themed "A Nation Protected, Knowledge Built" was organized to strengthen the children's sense of national identity.

Al Suwaidi also commended the impressive attendance rates, attributing them to parents' strong awareness and commitment to ensuring a safe transition back to learning environments.

Strict Oversight of School Transportation 

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has stepped up its supervision of school transportation systems to align with ongoing improvements. Through regular field visits, the authority ensures that buses are well-prepared and that drivers and supervisors comply with established guidelines. This proactive approach aims to enhance operational discipline and elevate service standards, prioritizing the safety of students during their daily commutes.
