Minor earthquake of 2 magnitude detected in Abu Dhabi

A magnitude 2.0 earthquake was recorded in Al Halah, Abu Dhabi, at 21:15 UAE time on 19 April 2026, according to the National Seismic Network operated by the National Centre of Meteorology.

The tremor was classified as a minor seismic event and falls within the lower range of detectable earthquakes, which are typically not felt by residents or associated with any structural damage.
