UAE-based award-winning entrepreneur and expert in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and media, Fairouz Daoud has launched world’s first immersive 3D virtual mall LaLaZar, aiming to bring groundbreaking experience of shared virtual world where users, as avatars, explore and discover products and interact with others in real time via chat and voice.
Daoud who hails from Palestine and moved to UAE in 2019, is at the forefront of immersive commerce, operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and media.

This curated approach positions the platform as a premium and limited retail environment, rather than an open-ended marketplace.”
Highlighting the platform’s overall experience, she said that “it integrates multiple commerce experiences within a single ecosystem. It combines a traditional online store interface for quick browsing, immersive virtual stores for brands, and curated creator and celebrity shops for discovery. A specialised gifting feature further enhances the experience by allowing users to send real products directly through the platform.”
