VIDEO: Dar Al Khaleej media company salutes nation’s resilience

In a proud tribute to the nation, Dar Al Khaleej Printing & Publishing house —which includes Al Khaleej and Gulf Today newspapers — raised the UAE Flag at its headquarters in Sharjah.

This act symbolised the newspaper's pride in, and loyalty to, the nation and its cherished symbol.

On April 9, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, called on citizens and residents to raise the UAE flag as a symbol of unity, pride, and loyalty, affirming that the nation emerged stronger and more united from the recent crisis.⁠

Sheikh Mohammed wrote on X: The UAE entered the recent crisis united and emerged stronger, bound by solidarity and loyalty. Citizens and residents, young and old, across all sectors, stood as one under the nation’s flag.⁠

The UAE flag is a symbol of strength and pride. We call on all to raise it above homes, institutions, and buildings.⁠

We are proud of our country, our President, our armed forces, our economy, and our people. Proud of every citizen and resident. Proud of our flag.⁠

Let us raise it high as a sign of our love, loyalty, and unity.⁠

May Allah protect the UAE and its people, and keep its flag raised in honour and glory.⁠

The UAE usually celebrates the Flag Day on 3 November each year.

The national flag is raised and flown simultaneously above the headquarters of ministries and other official entities, and buildings of all types are adorned with it.
