VIDEO: Dubai Police urge drivers to exercise caution during unstable weather

Dubai Police have issued a traffic advisory for motorists in the emirate, highlighting the impact of unstable weather conditions and rainfall affecting various areas of Dubai.

Drivers have been encouraged to lower their speed, remain vigilant on the roads, and consistently wear seatbelts to safeguard their own safety as well as that of other road users.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) emphasised the importance of adhering to safety procedures during weather conditions and fluctuations, stressing that compliance with instructions contributes to preserving everyone's safety.

Through its official account on the "X" platform, the MoI provided a set of basic guidelines which should be followed to ensure public safety during weather conditions and fluctuations.

The guidelines included reducing speeds on roads, avoiding areas where valleys flow and water accumulates, and refraining from going to sea.

The Ministry also recommended guidelines to ensure public safety inside homes and urged obtaining news from official sources and avoiding the circulation of rumours.

“Adherence to these guidelines enhances public safety and protects everyone.”, MoI affirmed.
