Fujairah warns against sharing any content that could compromise security or safety on social media

The Fujairah Police issued a warning on Thursday, advising against sharing social media content that could disclose sensitive information, potentially jeopardizsng security and public safety.

Through their official account on the X platform, the Fujairah Police addressed citizens and residents, emphasising that during crises or conflicts, posting photos or videos on social media might inadvertently expose critical information.

The Fujairah Police emphasised that such sensitive information might encompass exact geographic locations, including entrances, exits, and access routes, as well as the movements of individuals and vehicles. They noted that these details could potentially be misused to jeopardize public safety. They urged everyone to act responsibly when capturing or sharing photos, avoiding any content that could disclose information posing a risk to security and safety. Their message underlined a commitment to ensuring public well-being and happiness.
