A spokesperson for Emirates confirmed that the company is currently operating a limited flight schedule until further notice, following the partial reopening of some airspaces in the region, which allows for the safe resumption of commercial flights.
He indicated that on March 5 and 6, Emirates would operate over 100 flights to and from Dubai, to transport passengers to their destinations, in addition to shipping essential goods such as perishables and medicines.
The spokesperson explained that the company will gradually rebuild its flight schedule, depending on airspace availability and the fulfillment of all operational requirements, emphasising that the safety of passengers and crew remains a top priority, with close monitoring of the situation and adaptation of operational processes according to developments.
He advised customers to only go to the airport if they have a confirmed booking, stressing the importance of following the company's official website and social media channels for the latest information and operational updates.
