ICP completes procedures for 30,913 travellers at airports

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) announced that, in cooperation with the competent authorities, it has completed travel procedures by issuing visas and processing travel transactions for approximately 30,913 travellers at the country’s airports, including Zayed International Airport, Dubai Airports, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah International Airports.
The ICP stated that it also provided all necessary facilities and services for travellers and provided them with sustenance until the completion of travel procedures, in addition to securing transportation for everyone.
“We issued entry visas for 15,327 travellers at the aforementioned airports, allowing them to reside in the country until the current crisis ends and providing them with a dignified life until they can safely depart from the country,” the ICP added.
The ICP stated that it also provided all necessary facilities and services for travellers and provided them with sustenance until the completion of travel procedures, in addition to securing transportation for everyone.
The Authority affirmed the readiness of its work teams and systems to deal with crises and emergencies, announcing that it provides all services to travellers arriving in or departing from the UAE, or transiting through it to other countries, as well as travellers stranded at the country’s airports during the exceptional circumstances the region is witnessing.
“All operational plans and risk management procedures have been activated according to the highest approved standards, and that coordination is ongoing with strategic partners and competent authorities to ensure the sustainability of operations at ports once air traffic fully resumes,” the ICP stated.
ICP urged travellers and everyone to obtain information from official sources and follow updates through the official channels of the competent authorities, affirming that the United Arab Emirates possesses advanced infrastructure and a security and operational system capable of dealing efficiently and flexibly with various developments.
