Dubai extends lifting of truck traffic ban until March 8

The Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with the Dubai Police, has extended the removal of restrictions on truck movement, permitting trucks to operate on all roads across the Emirate of Dubai around the clock until Sunday, March 8, 2026.
This initiative is designed to bolster the logistics sector and facilitate the seamless operation of supply chains within the Emirate.
However, this decision does not apply to the Airport Tunnel and the Shindagha Tunnel, where current traffic restrictions will continue to be enforced. This is to prioritize road safety and ensure the uninterrupted flow of traffic on these critical routes.
