Dubai Airports has announced that operations are gradually resuming in collaboration with airlines and relevant authorities, with ongoing monitoring of the situation.
Limited flight services have restarted at both Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport.
Travellers are urged not to go to the airport unless they have received official confirmation from their airline about the status of their flight. Only those with confirmed bookings or finalised departure notices will be allowed to travel.
Dubai Airports stated that flight schedules might experience additional changes in the near future as airlines work on repositioning their aircraft and restructuring their operational networks.
Travellers are advised to closely monitor airline websites or mobile apps, even after confirming flight details. The focus at present is on departing flights, with traffic steadily rising in line with available capacity and airspace limitations.
They highlighted that the responsibility for operating each flight lies with the airline, taking into account factors such as aircraft positioning, crew availability, and airspace capacity.
They also noted that the aviation landscape remains dynamic, suggesting that additional adjustments could be made if necessary. Furthermore, they stressed the importance of checking official updates before traveling to the airport.
