The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) predicts an increase in cloud cover starting Tuesday night over the islands and western areas, accompanied by the possibility of light rain. By Wednesday, a relatively deepening low-pressure system will lead to cloud movement towards Abu Dhabi and inland areas, gradually spreading to the northern and eastern regions. This weather pattern is expected to bring scattered rainfall across the country, ranging from light to moderate, with occasional heavy downpours particularly in the northern and eastern areas. A reduction in cloud cover is anticipated from Thursday night onward.
Additionally, the NCM notes that winds will shift from a southeasterly direction to a northwesterly one, remaining moderate to brisk at times and potentially causing some dust disturbance. A significant drop in temperatures is also forecasted.
As for sea conditions, the Arabian Gulf will gradually turn rough between Tuesday night and Thursday, while the Sea of Oman is expected to remain generally slight to moderate, occasionally becoming rough.
