flydubai has announced it has extended the temporary suspension of all its flights to and from Dubai until 3pm, UAE local time, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, due to the temporary closure of the airspace of the country and the other countries of the region.
The airline explained that it was closely monitoring developments in co-ordination with the concerned authorities and was working to adjust its flight schedule accordingly.
It affirmed that its teams were making intensive efforts to provide the necessary care to all affected passengers, stressing that the safety of passengers and crew is its top priority and apologizing for any disruption to travel plans.
Flydubai noted that its call centre was experiencing a high volume of calls and urged customers to be patient.
Passengers with bookings within the next 72 hours are advised to rebook on an alternative flight to the same destination within 20 days of their original travel date, it said.
They should also ensure their contact information is up-to-date via the ‘Manage Booking’ service, regularly check their flight status before heading to the airport and contact the flydubai call centre in Dubai, visit one of its offices or consult their travel agent to arrange rebooking or request a refund.
