A fire broke out on Sunday in a warehouse for storing electrical appliances and car spare parts in Industrial Area 8, Sharjah, due to an electrical short circuit.
Sharjah Civil Defence teams dealt with the fire. Upon receiving the report, the teams moved quickly to extinguish and control the fire according to approved procedures, with no injuries recorded.
The competent authorities stated that preliminary inspection indicates the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit, while the teams are completing cooling operations and following procedures according to established regulations.
