Pakistan’s embassy and consulate in the UAE have suspended consular services temporarily, until Tuesday (March 3, 2026) "in light of the regional current situation."
In a circular issued on Sunday, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai said this step comes after the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation recommended remote working and advised against "workers presence in open spaces."
The Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi reiterated that the measure was taken "in the interest of safety and well-being of community members and Embassy staff alike."
Pakistani nationals in the UAE are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities and stay informed through official announcement.
Earlier, Pakistani missions informed the community members that in wake of the ongoing situation, flight operation from the UAE has not been restored so far.
Therefore, it is advised to rely only on official and verified sources of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Abu Dhabi or Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dubai.
