The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation advises private sector establishments across the country to take appropriate steps to prevent workers from being present in open areas, except for critical and essential roles that demand physical attendance.
Employers are urged to implement remote working arrangements wherever feasible. This measure will be effective for three days, starting from Sunday (March 1), until Tuesday (March 3).
The Ministry explained that the authority to suspend work or continue operations rests with the relevant local authorities, each responsible for its own jurisdiction based on the evolving circumstances.
Additionally, the Ministry urged private sector entities within the country to seek information and stay informed through official channels at both federal and local levels.
