The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) reported that 12 offices, which were found involved in unlicensed recruitment of domestic workers, have been shut down, with their cases referred to the Public Prosecution in coordination with the country's economic development departments.
Additionally, 57 domestic worker recruitment offices were found to have committed 300 violations throughout 2025.
The Ministry reiterated its unwavering stance on zero tolerance for any legal or administrative breaches, highlighting the preparedness of its field operations and advanced inspection systems to oversee recruitment agencies and handle violations with transparency and decisiveness, all in line with established regulations.
It called on members of society to deal only with the 136 officially licensed domestic worker recruitment offices across the country, urging them to report any misconduct through authorised channels or by contacting 80084 or 600590000 to ensure the authenticity of firms advertising such services on social media platforms.
