Sharjah Coop has announced the allocation of Dhs35 million to support more than 10,000 essential consumer products during the holy month, as part of its annual “Ramadan Togetherness” campaign.
The initiative aims to ease living expenses for consumers by offering special promotions and discounts of up to 75% across a wide range of products.
Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of Sharjah Coop, extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and to Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, on the occasion of the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadan.
He also expressed his deep appreciation for the continued and unlimited support extended to Sharjah Coop by the wise leadership.
Al Junaid emphasised that the launch of the “Ramadan Togetherness” campaign comes in line with the directives of the Cooperative’s Board of Directors and reflects its commitment to reducing the financial burden on both citizens and residents.
The campaign ensures the availability of essential food, grocery, and consumer goods at competitive and accessible prices across more than 75 retail outlets throughout the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to the Coop’s online store.
He explained that the campaign includes an integrated series of promotional offers that began at the end of January, followed by the “Ahlan Ramadan” promotions covering a broad selection of products. Additional special offers will commence one week prior to Ramadan, featuring discounts exceeding 75% on essential goods, alongside diverse promotions running throughout the Holy Month.
As part of its participation in the Sharjah Ramadan promotions organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Coop is offering customers the chance to win 65 prizes, including 5 luxury cars, 30 furniture vouchers, and 30 gift cards. Customers who spend Dhs200 or more at any branch across Sharjah City, the Eastern Region, and the Central Region, or via the online store and mobile application, will be eligible to enter the draw.
This year, the Coop has also introduced three Ramadan basket options, priced between Dhs99 and Dhs399, offering discounts of approximately 50%. These baskets include a variety of staple food items such as rice, sugar, flour, cooking oil, juices, and other essential products, and are available both in-store and online.
In preparation for Ramadan, the Coop has ensured sufficient stock of essential food items included in the promotional campaign to meet consumer demand throughout the month. Products will be made available in large quantities at carefully studied prices to maximise consumer benefit.
