A significant drop in temperatures is expected next Monday, and winds will be light to moderate northwesterly, active to strong over the sea to the west during the day, stirring dust over land, due to the country being affected by an extension of a surface high-pressure system, accompanied by an extension of a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Today, Saturday, the weather is expected to be generally clear, partly cloudy at times, and humid at night and on Sunday morning with a chance of light fog formation over some coastal areas and winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, with speeds from 10 to 20, amounting to 30 km/h, the NCM indicated, adding that the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
Sunday's weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, and humid at night and on Monday morning with a chance of light fog formation over some internal areas and winds will be southeasterly, turning to light to moderate northwesterly, becoming active in the evening and occasionally strong over the sea at night, with speeds from 15 to 25, amounting to 45 km/h. The sea will be light to moderate, becoming rough to very rough at times at night in the Arabian Gulf, and light to moderate, becoming rough late at night in the Sea of Oman.

Tuesday's weather, according to the NCM, will be clear to partly cloudy at times, especially in the north, with a rise in temperatures, and humid at night and on Wednesday morning with a chance of fog or light fog formation over some internal and coastal areas, while winds will be northwesterly, turning to light to moderate southeasterly, occasionally active, with speeds from 10 to 25, amounting to 35 km/h and the sea will be moderate to light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
The NCM reported that the maximum temperature in Abu Dhabi will be 32°C, while the minimum will be 18°C, the NCM reported, adding that in Dubai, the maximum temperature is expected to be 30°C and the minimum 20°C, while in Sharjah, the maximum is expected to be 31°C and the minimum 15°C. In Ajman, the NCM stated that the maximum temperature is expected to be 24°C and the minimum 20°C.
In Umm Al Quwain, the maximum is expected to be 28°C and the minimum 15°C, while in Ras Al Khaimah, the maximum will be 31°C and the minimum 14°C, and in Fujairah, the maximum 26°C and the minimum 21°C, while in Al Ain, the maximum will be 31°C and the minimum 15°C.
