Several areas on Wednesday witnessed dense fog, which led the horizontal visibility to drop and to be sometimes completely absent, especially in Abu Dhabi and its suburbs and the Al Ain-Dubai road, concurrently with a noticeable drop in temperature. The fog is expected to continue on Thursday over some coastal areas.
The weather on Thursday is expected to be clear to partly cloudy with low clouds appearing in the east but will be humid at night and on Friday morning with a chance of light fog over some coastal areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow at 10 to 20 and up to 30 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at night at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves but will become gradually rough at night in the Arabian Gulf compared to regular to moderate waves and rough at times in the Sea of Oman.
