The Ministry of Education (MoE), through its official website, announced new educational and administrative jobs for citizens and expatriates, as part of its endeavour to attract qualified educational staff to support the development of the educational system and enhance the quality of educational outcomes.
The Ministry clarified that the available positions include a wide range of specialisations, including: Arabic and English languages, mathematics, sciences, kindergarten, physical education (female teachers), art education, in addition to digital department managers.
The MoE announced the need to appoint "drama teachers", provided the applicant holds a bachelor's degree in one of the following specialisations: acting, directing, theatre, or performing arts.
“Applying for these jobs requires fulfilling a number of conditions, most notably obtaining a bachelor's degree as a minimum in the required specialisation, having teaching experience of no less than two years, in addition to proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written, the Moe indicated.
It also stipulated that the cumulative GPA should not be less than 2.5, and the applicant's age should not exceed 55 years for some jobs.
Regarding language proficiency, the MoE clarified the necessity of obtaining a score of no less than 6.5 in the IELTS (General) test, in addition to committing to obtaining a professional practice licence within the first two years from the date of appointment.
