The UAE will be affected from Thursday until next Monday morning by weak upper-air depressions at spaced intervals, along with the extension of surface depressions, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported. The conditions will lead to various cloud formations, with a possibility of intermittent rainfall, mainly over the northern and eastern regions. The rain is expected to be mostly light and occasionally moderate.
From Saturday until next Monday morning, clouds are expected to move across the country, bringing intermittent rainfall to some coastal, northern, and eastern areas, the NCM added. These weather conditions will be accompanied by a relative drop in temperatures, particularly along the coasts during the night and early morning hours.
Winds are expected to be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in strength, with speeds ranging between 10 and 25 km/h and reaching up to 40 km/h at times. The Arabian Gulf is expected to see light to moderate waves, while waves in the Sea of Oman will be light to moderate, according to the NCM.
In Abu Dhabi, temperatures will range between a maximum of 25°C and a minimum of 16°C. Dubai is expected to see similar temperatures, with a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C. In Sharjah, the maximum temperature will be 26°C and the minimum 15°C.
Ajman will record a maximum temperature of 25°C and a minimum of 15°C, while Umm Al Quwain will see temperatures ranging from 16°C to 25°C. In Ras Al Khaimah, temperatures are expected to range between 15°C and 26°C. Fujairah will see a high of 26°C and a low of 20°C, while Al Ain will record a maximum of 27°C and a minimum of 15°C.
