Abu Dhabi Police delight differently-abled child by fulfilling his wish to become police officer for a day

Abu Dhabi Police made Salem Yousef, a child of determination, happy by fulfilling his wish to experience the duties of a police officer for one day, in embodiment of its humanitarian and social role and its keenness to make different segments of society happy.
The initiative was implemented by the Traffic Awareness and Education Branch of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate in Al Ain with the participation of the Happiness Patrol and in co-operation with Al Dhaher Charter School (Boys).

The child had a distinguished field experience that included a tour in a patrol, during which he learned up close about the tasks of traffic officers, the patrol’s devices and equipment and the role of the police in maintaining security and serving the community.
The initiative reflected Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to support people of determination and enhance their role in society with a view to making them happy and highlighting their skills and capabilities, leaving a positive psychological impact on them and enhancing their sense of social integration, said Colonel Jaber Saeedan Al Nasouri, Director of Traffic and Patrols Directorate in Al Ain.
Meanwhile, Al Dhaher Charter School expressed its thanks and appreciation for the outstanding efforts of Abu Dhabi Police and its humanitarian initiatives that contribute to spreading happiness and positivity among all segments of society.
After being presented with a souvenir at the end of the tour, the child expressed his great happiness about his fulfilled wish and the unique experience he had about role of the police in supporting people of determination and serving the community.
