Brigadier Khalifa Khalid Al Awadhi, Director of Bur Dubai Police Station, along with his deputy, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ibrahim Al Awar, and several officers, recognised Mohammed Suleiman Al Qaryouti, a Jordanian national, for handing over Dhs200,000 to the police.
The amount was discovered by Al Qaryouti in a public parking lot within the Station's jurisdiction.
Brigadier Khalifa Al Awadhi commended the integrity of Mohammed Al Qaryouti, highlighting the noble values that are a source of pride in our society.
He emphasised that this recognition aligns with the center's commitment to encouraging public participation, thereby supporting the achievement of the strategic objectives set by the Dubai Police.
The Brigadier highlighted that this recognition aligns with efforts to strengthen community partnerships between Dubai Police and the public, fostering positive values, collaboration, and collective efforts to ensure security and safety across the nation.
He acknowledged the pivotal role played by community members and their active contributions in enhancing the country's image through meaningful cooperation with security authorities.
In response, Mohammed Al Qaryouti expressed his gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing that his actions stemmed from a moral duty rather than a desire for acknowledgment or praise. He also lauded the Dubai Police for their dedication to encouraging and upholding ethical and positive values within society.
