The weather in the country between Wednesday and next Friday will be affected by the extension of a weak upper-level low-pressure system accompanied by the flow of a relatively cold air mass, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
As a result of these weather conditions, different clouds will be formed and rain is likely to fall at intervals, mostly drizzles and sometimes moderate in some northern and eastern areas.
The weather conditions are predicted to be accompanied by a slight drop in temperature, especially during the night and early morning, with active northwesterly winds and rough sea.
Rain is expected in some northern and eastern areas on Wednesday and Thursday, with a rise in temperature.
The weather on Tuesday will be clear to partly cloudy with low clouds appearing over some eastern areas but will be humid in the morning with a chance for fog or light fog to form over some inland and coastal areas.
Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow at 10 to 20 and up to 30 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
