The joint tactical exercise for the security departments of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries, Arabian Gulf Security 4, has officially commenced in the State of Qatar. This initiative includes participation from Emirati security forces, along with counterparts from other GCC nations and specialized units from the United States.
The launch occurred under the sponsorship of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya). The event was attended by several high-ranking security officials from GCC countries, including leaders of the exercise's higher committees as well as commanders and officers of the participating forces.
The exercise, set to run until February 4, 2026, will feature over 70 field scenarios and more than 260 hours of training.
