Sharjah Municipality uses QR code to help owners identify impounded vehicles

The Sharjah Municipality has issued a notice urging owners of vehicles, machinery, motorcycles, and bicycles impounded for over six months by the Sharjah City Municipality to take immediate action. These individuals are requested to address the necessary procedures for releasing their possessions.

The notice, shared via the Municipality's social media channels, instructs owners to visit the Inspection and Control Department in Industrial Area 5 within four days from the date of publication. This timeframe provides an opportunity for owners to resolve the reasons behind the impoundment and retrieve their items. Failure to comply within the stipulated period will result in the Municipality auctioning the impounded properties publicly after January 29, 2026.

To facilitate the process, the Municipality has also provided a QR code that enables access to the list of impounded vehicles.
