President Asif Ali Zardari will undertake an official visit to the UAE from Jan.26 to 29, accompanied by a high-level delegation, Pakistan’s presidency and Foreign Office said on Monday.
During the visit, President Zardari will hold high-level meetings with the UAE’s leadership to review the full spectrum of bilateral ties, especially in the domains of trade and economic partnership, defence and security, and people-to-people ties.
The discussions will also focus on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The visit follows the recent trip of the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed to Pakistan and reflects the deep brotherly ties between the two nations and reaffirming their commitment to strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors.
On Dec.27, 2025, Sheikh Mohamed paid an official visit to Pakistan, marking his first official visit in his capacity as president.
During the visit, he held talks with Pakistani leadership on strengthening bilateral cooperation across key areas, including trade, investment and security
The visit, undertaken at the invitation of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, came at a time when Pakistan's relations with the Gulf states have witnessed a renewed surge, driven by expanding cooperation in defence, investment, energy and regional diplomacy.
