Emirates Airline has announced the cancellation of 16 flights scheduled between Jan.24 and 26, 2026, due to the significant impact of Hurricane Verne on parts of the United States.
The affected routes include flights to New York, Newark, Dallas, and Washington, as well as services connecting Milan and Athens to the United States.
The airline stated on its website that passengers with connecting itineraries through Dubai on these cancelled flights will not be allowed to depart from their original locations.
Travellers impacted by these cancellations are encouraged to reach out to their travel agents for rebooking or, if they made direct reservations, to contact Emirates directly.
The company calls on its customers to update their contact information through the "Manage Booking" service on its website to ensure they receive the latest updates. It apologised for any inconvenience caused and assured that it would keep a close watch on weather conditions.
