The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expected Saturday's weather to be clear to partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at night over the sea and some coastal and northern areas, with a chance of light rain and a rise in temperatures.
Winds, according to the NCM, will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, occasionally active, with speeds from 10 to 20, amounting to 35 km/h. The waves will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
The NCM expected Sunday's weather to be partly cloudy to cloudy over some coastal, northern, and eastern areas, with a chance of rain, and humid at night and on Monday morning over some coastal and inland areas. Winds will be southeasterly, turning to northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally active at night over the sea, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 km/h. The waves will be light to moderate, gradually becoming rough at night in the west of the Arabian Gulf, and light to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
Earlier, the NCM forecast that the weather would be generally clear to partly cloudy, with occasional dusty conditions in the eastern regions. Low clouds were anticipated over certain coastal and northern areas, accompanied by a further decline in temperatures.
The temperatures on Thursday were expected to be in the range of 15-23°C in Abu Dhabi, 16-23°C in Dubai, 14-23°C in Sharjah, 15-22°C in Ajman, 14-23°C Umm Al Quwain, 13-23°C in Ras Al Khaimah, 19-26°C in Fujairah, 14-23°C in Al Ain, 12-24°C in Liwa, 16-20°C in Al Ruwaise, 17-21°C in Al Sila’, and 16-20°C in Dalma.
Humidity levels were expected to rise during the night and into Friday morning, potentially leading to light fog formation in some western areas.
In its latest update, the NCM noted that winds would range from moderate to brisk, occasionally strengthening over the sea during the morning and causing dust and sand to stir.
