Kalba likely to face ongoing showers for 4 days

Yesterday, Wednesday, scattered showers fell on Kalba on the eastern coast of the UAE, and are expected to continue on Thursday for 4 days as the country is affected by an extension of a weak surface low from the east and a high from the west, accompanied by an extension of a weak low in the upper atmosphere.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects the weather on Thursday to be clear to partly cloudy, with low clouds forming in some northern regions and the possibility of light rain, and a slight decrease in temperature. It will be humid at night and on Friday morning in some inland areas. Winds, according to the NCM, will be southwesterly to northwesterly light to moderate, sometimes active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 35 km/h. The waves will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.

The weather on Friday is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, with the formation of low clouds in some northern and eastern regions with the possibility of light rain, and humid at night and on Saturday morning in some coastal areas.

Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, sometimes active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 35 km/h.

The waves will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman, the NCM reported.

The weather on Saturday is expected to be generally partly cloudy, with the formation of low clouds in some northern and eastern regions, which may be accompanied by light rain, and winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, sometimes active, with speed ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 35 km/h.

However, the waves will be light to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
