UAE allows transfers of students between public and private schools

Through official circulars addressed to parents, school administrations have announced the opening of the transfer process between public and private schools for the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year in accordance with the approved regulations and procedures issued by the Ministry of Education.

The administrations explained in the circulars that receiving transfer requests would take place after the results of the first semester had been announced, provided that parents commit to submitting all the required papers and documents in accordance with the rules regulating the transfer process in order to ensure smooth and accurate procedures.

This step comes as part of the ministry’s keenness to regulate the movement of students between schools and serve the interest of the educational process, the administrations said, calling on parents to abide by the specified dates and official instructions to avoid any delays or obstacles.
