Rescue patrols of the Sharjah Police responded immediately to a report where the cruise control had malfunctioned in a vehicle travelling at 80km/h from Ahmed Bin Hadid Square towards Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Street. The traffic patrol stopped the vehicle within a few minutes, with no injuries or damage recorded.
