Sheikh Mohammed announces the Lebanese Professor Charbel Dagher as winner of Great Arab Minds Award

 His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated Lebanese Professor Charbel Dagher on winning the "Great Arab Minds 2025" award for the Literature and Arts category. 

Sheikh Mohammed said in a tweet on "X" platform: "We congratulate the winner of the Great Arab Minds Award for the Literature and Arts category for the year 2025, Professor Charbel Dagher, from Lebanon, Professor of Arabic Literature." 

He added: "He has provided intellectual contributions which have spanned decades in various fields of literature, from poetry, writing, and novels, to criticism, and he has also worked on studying Arab arts in their history and depth, and all the changes that have occurred to them. 

His Highness continued: "Professor Charbel has published more than 70 books, through which he has enriched the fields of literature and arts in our Arab world, and his works are references for studying Arab literature and art throughout history.

We congratulate all the winners of the Great Arab Minds Award, and we say to all Arabs: He who created the greatest civilisation in history is today capable of building a greater future... if he believes in himself, his capabilities, and his role in resuming civilisation."
