Drizzles to moderate rains fell on separate areas across the country including Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain on Monday.
The rains are expected to continue falling on Tuesday on some northern and eastern areas due to the country being affected by the extension of a weak surface low-pressure system accompanied by the extension of a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere.
Today’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance for some cumulus clouds to form accompanied by rains on some northern and eastern areas and a drop in temperature, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Moderate to active northwesterly winds will blow, turning to strong and dust-stirring at times at 15 to 30 and up to 50 km/h, while the sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Wednesday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with low clouds appearing over the islands and some coastal and inland areas. Moderate to active northwesterly winds will blow, turning to strong and dust-stirring at times at 15 to 30 and up to 50 km/h, while the sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Thursday’s weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy but will be humid at night and on Friday morning in some coastal and inland areas with a chance of fog or light fog. Light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times during the day at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Friday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy but will be humid at night and on Saturday morning in some coastal and inland areas. Light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times during the day at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will be moderate to rough at night in the Arabian Gulf compared to regular to moderate waves in the Sea of Oman.
