The National Centre of Meteorology expects rain on the islands and in some northern and eastern regions on Friday, continuing for four days, due to the country being affected by a surface low-pressure system accompanied by a weak low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere.
The NCM forecasts Friday's weather to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times on the islands and some northern and eastern regions with a chance of rain, and humid at night and on Saturday morning in some coastal and inland regions with a chance of fog or light fog forming.
Winds, according to the NCM, will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally active, with speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, amounting to 35 km/h and the waves will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
According to the NCM, Saturday's weather will be clear to partly cloudy and occasionally cloudy with a chance of light rain over some coastal and northern areas, and humid at night and on Sunday morning over some inland and coastal areas.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, occasionally active, with speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, amounting to 35 km/h, and the waves will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, the NCM reported.
The NCM forecasts clear to partly cloudy weather on Sunday, with a chance of some cumuliform clouds accompanied by rain in some coastal, northern and eastern areas, while winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally active and stirring dust, with speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, amounting to 35 km/h. The waves will be calm to moderately in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, the NCM added.
Monday's weather, according to the NCM, will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a chance of some cumuliform clouds accompanied by rains in some coastal, northern and eastern areas, with a rise in temperatures.
It will be humid at night and on Tuesday morning in some inland areas and winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally stirring up dust, with speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, amounting to 40 km/h, while the waves will be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman with clouds.
