Mohammed declares Lebanese professor Badi Hani Great Arab Minds' Award winner in Economics

 His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, said via "X" platform: “We congratulate Professor Badi Hani from Lebanon for winning the Great Arab Minds Award in the Economics category for 2025.

Professor Hani is an outstanding professor of economics at Syracuse University, who has made exceptional contributions to econometrics and the development of economic data analysis models. He has published more than 200 scientific research papers, and his book on economic data model analysis is considered a reference for researchers worldwide.”  

Sheikh Mohammed added: "Our Arab societies need professional economists... Effective policies are built on solid science and accurate data... The nation's economy is made by its minds, and by the determination of its people to write a new Arab chapter in the journey of resuming our Arab civilization."
