Beit Al Khair Society announced the extent of the support it has provided for the citizens’ housing file since the beginning of 2025 until now, amounting to Dhs8,050,253 (Dhs8.05 million), which included various forms of assistance to meet the needs of safe and dignified housing.
The Society clarified that the assistance included essential items, with the foremost being house rent amounting to Dhs3,714,113 (Dhs3.7 million), confirming its commitment to ensuring the stability of citizen families and protecting them from the risks of losing their homes.
Also, an amount of Dhs2,500,392 (Dhs2.5 million) for completing the construction of homes, supporting families whose housing projects have stalled.
The aid also included providing furniture worth Dhs543,206, household supplies worth Dhs641,750, and basic electronic devices worth Dhs25,000, contributing to the preparation of suitable homes for daily living.
In the maintenance and services sector, the Society provided support for general maintenance work amounting to Dhs150,400, sewage services Dhs44,224, and electricity and water services Dhs363,300.
The Society also covered emergency cases, including the fire in some houses, where it spent Dhs67,866 to address the aftermath of these incidents and ensure families return to safe homes.
Beit Al Khair affirmed that these efforts align with its strategy aimed at preserving the dignity of citizens, enhancing social stability, and providing the essentials for a dignified life, emphasising its continued support for the housing file as it is one of the most important pillars of sustainable charitable work.
