Rains are expected to fall on Friday and to continue for four days as a result of the country being affected by the extension of a weak surface low-pressure system accompanied by the extension of a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Friday’s weather expected to be clear to partly cloudy, turning into cloudy at night and on Saturday morning in the islands and coasts with a chance of rains.
Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 20 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.
Saturday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of rains, especially on the islands, coasts and some northern areas but will be humid at night and on Sunday morning in some coastal and inland areas.
Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves but may become rough at times in the Arabian Gulf compared with regular to moderate waves in the Sea of Oman.
Sunday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of rains on some coastal and northern areas and a drop in temperature.
Light to moderate northwesterly to southeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves but may become rough in the Arabian Gulf compared to regular to moderate waves in the Sea of Oman.
Monday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of rains on some coastal and northern areas.
