Drizzles are expected to fall on the islands and some western and coastal areas on Thursday night and Friday morning, while fog is expected to form for four days, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
This is due to the country being affected by weak surface pressure systems accompanied by a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere.
Thursday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with low clouds appearing over the islands and some western areas and a chance of drizzles, especially at night and on Friday morning.
The weather, however, will be humid at night and on Friday morning in some inland areas with a chance of fog or light fog.
Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow at 10 to 20 and up to 30 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. Friday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times in the west with a chance of rains, especially on the islands and some coastal and western areas but will be humid at night and on Saturday morning in some inland areas with a chance of fog or light fog.
