As part of its 54th Eid Al Etihad (Union Day) celebrations, the Dibba Al Hisn area hosted a series of events that proudly highlight the significance of this occasion for every Emirati and anyone who considers the UAE their homeland.
Organised by the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, the Dibba Al Hisn Fishermen Association, and the Sharjah Fisheries Authority, a marine parade took place on Nov.29.
The parade started at 3:00pm and concluded at 5:30pm.
The marine parade included traditional folkloric shows and chants that celebrated the UAE, its unity, and its strength, which is rooted in cultural diversity.
The boats proudly displayed the UAE flag, and participants gathered under its banner in a joyful atmosphere that evoked the greatness of past heritage and highlighted the distinction of the present.
Attendees reaffirmed their loyalty and sense of belonging while revisiting cherished memories of past celebrations, which become more unique year after year.
Dibba Al Hisn boasts a historical charm and a rich heritage, with its long history and coastal landscape making it a distinctive tourist destination.
