The Khorfakkan amphitheatre will host artists Hussain Al Jasmi and Fouad Abdelwahid on 29 November for a special musical evening that blends tradition with melody.

The same day will also feature a musical evening with Faiz Al Saeed, Khalifa Al Washahi, and Mohammed Al Wazem at 8:00pm, with free admission for attendees.
The outdoor amphitheater plaza will welcome wide participation from all age groups, with cultural and national platforms for children and youth.
Additionally, there will be dialogues with senior citizens, poetry evenings, and cultural competitions.
Outside the amphitheater, there will be spaces for productive families, traditional and military performance groups, food trucks, a photography studio, cultural activities, and performances showcasing Emirati folklore and heritage.
The Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is a unique architectural landmark overlooking the Corniche, surrounded by majestic mountains reaching toward the sky.
It has become an important cultural and artistic destination in Sharjah, designed in a blend of Islamic and Roman styles. Its scenic location—towering mountains, a pristine coastline, and breathtaking wadis—has earned Khorfakkan the title of the “Bride of the East Coast.”
Across Khorfakkan, streets are adorned with festive lights and decorations celebrating this cherished national occasion, uniting residents in love for the homeland, pride in its cultural identity and values, and recognition of the nation’s strength derived from unity in diversity.
The celebrations have been carefully designed to include all community groups through interactive activities that bring together the young and the elderly, ensuring broad community participation and meaningful discussions about the stories of the Union. These activities strengthen emotional bonds among community members, connect them with the heritage of the past, and encourage them to celebrate the present while playing an active role in shaping the future.
Meanwhile, Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye (MENAT) region, marked the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad with vibrant celebrations across its UAE offices, showcasing Emirati culture and traditions, and bringing colleagues together from across the Group.
The celebrations highlighted the UAE’s spirit of unity and paid tribute to the nation’s visionary leaders who have dedicated their efforts to building knowledge, transparency, governance, innovation and economic prosperity.
The programme featured engaging activities including canvas painting, themed photo booths and recreational elements, offering employees an opportunity to come together to connect, celebrate and honour the spirit of unity that defines the nation.
Celebrating UAE’s rich cultural heritage, the festivities began with the UAE National Anthem, performed by acoustic Emirati talent Saif Al Ali, followed by a video recapping the bank’s key achievements in Emiratisation during the year.
This year, for Eid Al Etihad, Emirates NBD launched “Planet UAE,” a campaign celebrating the UAE as a world of progress, unity and innovation.
The centerpiece film tells the heartfelt story of a grandmother and her young granddaughter in an Emirati home.
