Dubai International Airport is preparing for a strong travel peak from 27 November to 31 December 2025, with passenger numbers expected to exceed 10 million during this period.
Travel will start early, coinciding with the UAE National Day holiday, with an average of more than 294,000 passengers expected to travel each day.
The pace is expected to accelerate significantly during December, with more than 8.7 million passengers expected to pass through the airport, making it the busiest month in the airport's history.
During December, the daily number of passengers is expected to exceed 300,000, with Saturday 20 December being the busiest day with 303,000 passengers.
During this period, the pace of international travel increases in the days leading up to the National Day holiday. In mid-December, the pace changes again, with travel to Dubai increasing significantly, driven by the city's rich and varied programme of festive events during the holiday season.
Dubai Airports continues to work closely with its partners within the oneDXB airport community, including airlines, regulators, commercial partners and service teams, to ensure a smoother journey for all travellers.
