The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects rains to fall in some inland areas with the possibility of fog or light fog formation on Sunday, and for the next four days.
This, the NCM said, is due to the effect of a weak surface low from the east and a high-pressure system from the west, accompanied by an extension of high atmospheric pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The weather on Sunday is expected to be generally partly cloudy and occasionally cloudy in the west, with a possibility of light rains at night and on Monday morning. It will be humid at night and on Monday morning in some inland areas, with a chance of fog or light fog formation, The NCM reported, adding that winds will be light to moderate in speed, occasionally active in the west, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h, while the sea will be moderate to light in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
