The Indian embassy in Abu Dhabi stated on its website that UAE citizens can now obtain visas on arrival at three additional airports in India - Kochi, Calicut, and Ahmedabad airports, in addition to Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai airports.
The embassy stated that the visa service is available upon arrival for UAE citizens who have previously obtained an e-Visa or a paper/regular visa to enter India.
UAE nationals are required to fill out the application form (Appendix A) upon arrival and submit it to the visa office.
Travellers coming to India for tourism, business, conferences, and medical treatment are entitled to stay for a period not exceeding 60 days provided that they hold a valid passport for a period of not less than six months, the Embassy clarified.
