Continuing the procedures followed to ensure the safe arrival of students to the exam centres, the Ministry of Education (MoE) announced through school administrations on Thursday evening an adjustment to the exam schedule for Friday, Nov. 21, following directives issued to modify the exam start times due to fog formation and the continuation of unstable weather conditions in some areas.
The circulars affirmed that the exams on Friday will start at 10am, instead of 9am for grades 10 to 12, and will be held (once only) in all government and private schools implementing the ministry's curriculum.
This decision comes as a continuation of the flexible procedures adopted by the ministry hours before the start of exams in schools, to ensure the safety of students and facilitate their arrival at exam centres without being at risks of driving in low visibility conditions.
The MoE appreciated the cooperation of school administrations and parents, affirming its ongoing monitoring of weather developments and the implementation of any additional measures if needed to ensure student safety and the smooth continuation of the educational process.
